What to know before your first class with us.
You don’t need to be flexible to do yoga, we do yoga to improve flexibility
You don’t need to know all the poses, that’s why we have teachers
You don’t need fancy yoga clothes, wear something comfortable and breathable
You may fall out of a pose or many, we all do, it’s part of the practice
Your first class does not need to be perfect.
Taking a break is always an option
Use a block or strap as a tool to feel good in a pose
Take any or all modifications offered, or skip a pose all together
Focus on how you feel, leave comparison behind
Listen to your body

While all of our classes can be adjusted to any level of student, our beginner students enjoy starting with our Warm Vinyasa class if the heat is new for you, or the Slow & Strong to help you build the strength and mobility for any of our classes. We also recommend the Yin classes like Rest & Recover or Warm Yin Yang, for a slower and deeper stretch experience.

A mat, water and YOU…just as you are!
We do require all students to practice on a yoga mat. If you do not have one, you may borrow a basic mat from us for free, or rent a $5 premium mat. We also offer $5 mat towel rentals or $9 to rent both.
Water is highly recommended for all heated classes. We have filtered water to refill your water bottle, or we sell Boxed Water and other drinks at the studio. We do not offer cups or allow open containers in the studio.
Provided by the studio for each class: Sweat hand towels, yoga blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps, resistance bands, hand weights, eye pillows and cold lavender towels for the end of class. You may use these props as needed for class.
